¶ “10-GW Wind Farm To Be Built In Egypt” • Masdar, Infinity Power, and Hassan Allam Utilities have signed an agreement to develop a 10 GW onshore wind project in Egypt – one of the world’s largest wind farms. ¶ “New-Build Nuclear Must Face Down Industry’s Costly Past” • EDF’s 1.65-GW Flamanville plant, under construction in northwestern France, is 10 years behind schedule and is set to cost €12.7 billion, four times more than first estimated in 2004, Reuters reported.
